About these photographs:
When a close relative died in 2009 there was always a question of whether or not I
should photograph anything from this day.  Naturally it was difficult to do (in a service where I actually had to
speak in place of the relative's son who was unable to attend) but I'm ultimately glad I did.  These pictures are
but a few from that day, a day which will greet us all one day.  Though death isn't easy for anyone, there's no
reason we must confront it with silence and impotence.
